In celebration of National Aviation History Month, Linda Freire, Board Chair of the Pan Am Museum and former flight attendant will discuss the history of Pan American World Airways, its connection to Port Washington and the artists behind the airline’s iconic posters.
This program and reception to follow, is scheduled in conjunction with the Pan American World Airways Exhibit which will be on display November 5 through November 28. This exciting exhibit will feature vintage posters from the collection of the Pan Am Museum’s archive, many of which have never been publicly displayed until now.
This program is dedicated to the memory of Tom Donoghue, long-time PWPL Board of Trustees member.
Lecture and reception are sponsored by the Nautical Advisory Council.
